Lead the document controls team and develop solid and practical document control and information management procedures for QD PMDI project with support of 3rd party consultants as appropriate. Ensure the latest GERE information management practice well implemented on the project. Engage with A-site team to set up the document control/information management platform on the QD PMDI project in an efficient and effective manner. Play the role of super user for A-site and provide support, guidance and training including training to the internal and external team including suppliers in system functionality, process and procedures etc as appropriate. Work closely with A-site system suppliers for any trouble shooting work in time to minimize the impact to the project delivery. Supervise and coach document controls specialist in the team to deliver high-performing work. Sanity and compliance monitoring for all documents uploading to the document management system, ensuring documents are in the correct format and with the correct status and workflow. To maintain appropriate levels of information about documents produced including storage locations, status, owners etc that in compliance with GE CPDP requirement. Provide document progress reporting on regular basis to project controls lead and perform the duties to follow up upon request. Play the role of POC for GERE project team with regards to document management/information management queries and coordinate with suppliers to continuously improve the process to benefit the project delivery. Interface with Client's IT department in relation to current, and any proposed alternative, tools and systems for application. Develop a quality assurance process for document management, to support effective implementation of standard work and capture of learnings. Play the key role for document management in APAC region and join Client's global document controls forum to have global standards/good practices implemented on the projects. Bachelor's degree of relevant majors or above Good communication skills in both Chinese and English At least 15 years of managing document control processes and procedures on large scale engineering projects and multinational engineering companies Experienced in working with team members from different cultures and backgrounds Related experience in project document and information management and demonstrated experience in document management software packages commonly used on design and construction projects Experience in Microsoft Office applications (SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
