Below, you will find useful and convenient tips and tools that will help you navigate day to day life on campus, and most importantly, stay safe.The Customer Service Specialist supports the goals and objectives of the NYU Shanghai Department of Campus Safety, specifically in the protection of life and property, the enhancement of a positive care environment, and general protection and safety of the NYU Shanghai community and property. 帮助上海纽约大学公共安全部实现部门目标，保护上海纽约大学师生的生命及财产安全。The main responsibilities include:Responsibility A (50%) Safety Inquiry 安全咨询Responsible for handling daily inquiries at the NYU Shanghai Command Center, including responding to phone calls and emails in both Chinese and English, and addressing questions raised in person by students, faculty, and visitors. 负责处理上海纽约大学指挥中心的日常咨询工作，包括用中英文回复电话和邮件，解答学生、教职员工及访客在现场提出的相关问题。Responsibility B (20%) Emergency Response and Incident Handling 应急响应及事件处置Respond promptly to emergency incidents (e.g., fire, medical emergencies,); 快速响应突发安全事件（如火灾、医疗急救等）；Assist with on-site management, information collection, and incident reporting. 协助开展现场处置、信息收集与报告撰写Responsibility C (20%) Policy Enforcement and Access Management 制度执行与管理Enforce access control policies, visitor registration, and vehicle entry/exit procedures; 协助执行门禁管理、访客登记、车辆出入管理等制度；Support the safety management of key areas such as dormitories and academic buildings. 参与宿舍、教学楼等重点区域的安全管理和应急检查。Responsibility D (10%) Safety Education and Event Support 安全教育与活动支持Assist in organizing fire drills, safety training sessions, and awareness campaigns; 协助组织消防演练、安全讲座及培训活动；Promote basic safety knowledge among students and staff; 普及基本安全知识，提升师生安全意识；Assist in other events organized by Campus Safety. 参与公共安全部其他的活动支持。QualificationsRequired EducationCollege degree or higher, Major in English or administration related is preferred. 大专以上学历，英语或行政管理专业优先。Required ExperiencePrevious experience in campus safety or institutional security preferred; 有高校、企事业单位安全管理相关工作经验者优先；Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations on campus safety and campus risk management preferred.熟悉国家安全管理相关法律法规及校园安全管理规范优先。Required Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writing in Mandarin/English for the purpose of public interaction and report writing; 具备较好的英语听说读写能力, 能够使用中文和英语交流并完成书面报告;Strong emergency response, communication, and customer service skills; 具备较强的应急反应能力、沟通协调能力及服务意识；Possesses a strong sense of confidentiality regarding personal privacy and work-related matters; 具较好的有个人隐私信息、工作内容保密意识；Proficiency in basic office software and the ability to write reports and documentation; 具备基本办公软件操作能力，能够撰写各类报告及文件；Possession of certificates such as fire safety training, security license, or first aid is a plus. 持有消防员证、安保证、急救证者优先考虑。Work ArrangementThis position follows a 2-days-on, 2-days-off rotating shift schedule; 本岗位实行轮班制，做二休二（连续工作两天、休息两天）；Daily working hours are from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, including a mid-day break on rotation; 每日工作时间为 7:30–19:30，包含中午轮休；The shift schedule includes duty on public holidays.
