The role involves day-to-day maintenance of portfolios, trade execution, and routine and ad-hoc support to portfolio managersWhat you will do
Support portfolio management activities by maintaining investment models and assisting in the implementation of investment strategies, including trade execution and portfolio rebalancing.
Independently manage cash positions of portfolios, monitor currency exposures and execute FX trades as needed.
Collaborate with Compliance, Sales, Trading, and Operations teams to address investment compliance matters and resolve relevant trading or operational issues.
Assist in compiling investment commentaries, and presentation materials to support account reviews or client reporting on a regular basis.
In general, establish a close working relationship with Portfolio Managers, provide routine and ad-hoc support to investment team on relevant portfolio management matters.
What you bring
University Degree in relevant discipline
5+ years of relevant experience in investments / capital markets, preferably gained from a buyside firm
Familiarity with Bloomberg is a plus
Possess relevant SFC licenses, and preferably a CFA charter holder
Strong analytical skills and investment knowledge
High risk awareness and attentiveness to details
Self-driven and independent
Team player with excellent communication skills and a strong drive to excel
Proficiency in English and Chinese
AI skills: Microsoft CoPilot/ Data Analytics
