- Execution of functional standards and best practices
- Acts as a conduit for the wider domain strategy, for example technical standards.
- Prioritises and makes available capacity for technical debt.
- Experienced practitioner and hands on contribution to the squad delivery for their craft (Eg. Engineering).
- Responsible to evolve the craft towards improving automation, simplification and innovative use of latest market trends.
- Adopt and embed the Change Delivery Standards throughout the lifecycle of the product / service.
- Follows the chapter operating model to ensure a system exists to continue to build capability and performance of the chapter.
- Follows the standards with respect to risk management as applicable to their chapter domain.
- Adheres to common practices to mitigate risk in their respective domain.
- Ensure all artefacts and assurance deliverables are as per the required standards and policies (e.g., SCB Governance Standards, ESDLC etc.).
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

- Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures
- Strong understanding of Wealth Journey and WM Sales Governance processes (onboarding New to Wealth customers, risk profiling, pre/post trade compliance check, portfolio performance and etc)
- Strong understanding of Wealth Journey Platform architecture, functionality, and capabilities, with hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, customisation, and integration.
- Application servers - IBM WebSphere, JBOSS
- Databases - Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL
- Container Platform - OCP, AKS, EKS

- Bachelor's degree, or higher, in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 10 to 12 years of working experience in IT industry
- Strong understanding of modern technology stack, with hands-on experience in solution design, configuration, customisation, and integration; supported by good technical skills.
- Prior experience on Wealth technology & IBM ODM product would be added advantages
