MAHLE is committed to thermal management and intends to continue growth in this area.Your ContributionAs the Senior R&D Manager, you will be responsible for leading R&D initiatives, overseeing a team of engineers, and ensuring that projects align with the company's strategic goals. The role involves managing the development of new products, enhancing existing ones, and fostering a culture of innovation.

Lead and manage the R&D team and its personnel, achieving project goals.
Oversee all R&D projects from concept to launch, setting timelines and ensuring they are adhered to.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product success.
Provide technical expertise and technical issue solving to the respective teams whenever necessary.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations and MAHLE product development procedures.
Monitor and report on project progress and performance, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement of product cost.
Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and careers.
Conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences.
Implement best practices in project management and product development.
Drive the adoption of new tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
Support the commercialization of new products and technologies.
Stay updated on automotive thermal technology trends and advancements.

Your Experience & Qualifications

10 years or more of experience in development of complex air conditioning and powertrain cooling products for passenger and commercial vehicles, esp. in NEV application preferred.
Familiar with the development process and standards related to automotive industry components
Proven experience in a relevant role, with a strong background in leading R&D projects, managing cross-functional teams, and driving innovation to support the company's strategic goals.
Strong capabilities in coaching & management
Structured and autonomous working style
Good communication and team driven skills
Fluent English language skills
