We are seeking an experienced Mathematics competition coach for our international curriculum centre. Coach enthusiastic and motivated students atLocation: Wuxi
Start date: August 2025
Contract type: Full-time fixed term (two years contract with annual renewal thereafter).You will be a key member of the teaching team in this extremely successful international high school program.Students in the centre seek to gain entry at top universities overseas and are generally exceptionally motivated and high-achieving. You will focus on developing their application of learning and critical thinking skills in order to prepare them as thoroughly as possible for university abroad. ​Wuxi Tianyi High School, located in Jiangsu Province, has established a strong reputation in mathematics competitions, both nationally and internationally.​ The school’s success in mathematics competitions is supported by dedicated faculty members. Wuxi Tianyi High School’s consistent achievements in mathematics competitions reflect its strong emphasis on mathematical excellence and its supportive environment for aspiring mathematicians.High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling (HiMCM)In 2024, a team from Tianyi High School earned the “Outstanding” designation in the High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling (HiMCM), organized by the Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications (COMAP). This prestigious international competition challenges students to apply mathematical modelling to real-world problems. ​National Mathematics Olympiad (China)Tianyi High School students have also achieved top honours in the National High School Mathematics League, the preliminary round of the China Mathematical Olympiad. Multiple students from Tianyi have been awarded first prizes in the Jiangsu regional competition, highlighting the school's commitment to advanced mathematical training. ​About the schoolThe international centre was established in 2009 and has almost 300 students who are serious about their studies and understand the rigorous requirements of the Advanced Placement program.
