We are seeking a Touch Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of touch panel systems for automotive display applications. The role includes touch panel pixel and driving design, on-cell and in-cell touch design, and hover gesture control design. You will define product specifications based on customer requirements and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive product development. This role requires familiarity with automotive display specifications and the ability to present and communicate effectively in English.Mission of the Role:
Lead the design, development, and optimization of touch panel systems for automotive display applications, ensuring high performance and customer satisfaction.Key Objectives of this Role:Lead touch panel pixel and driving design.Develop on-cell and in-cell touch designs.Implement hover gesture control designs.Define product specifications based on customer requirements.Collaborate with suppliers and internal ME/HW/SW teams to drive product development.Key Performance Indicators:Successful implementation of touch panel designs that meet performance requirements.Effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams leading to seamless product development.Timely delivery of innovative touch panel solutions.High customer satisfaction through technical engagements and product specifications alignment.Compliance with automotive display specifications and standards.Key Year One Deliverables:Develop and implement touch panel pixel and driving designs.Establish and refine on-cell and in-cell touch designs.Integrate hover gesture control designs into product development.Define and document product specifications based on customer requirements.Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive product development.Qualification, Experience, and Skills:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in product design or technical platform in LCD/Touch/BLU maker.Experience in developing automotive display products (preferred, not required).Familiarity with automotive display specifications.Touch Panel Design: Touch panel pixel and driving design, on-cell and in-cell touch design, hover gesture control design, touch IC requirements.Product Specifications: Define product specifications based on customer requirements.Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers and internal ME/HW/SW teams to drive product development.Communication: Ability to present and communicate effectively in English.Key Leadership Behaviors:Critical ThinkingCollaborationResilienceResult OrientationReporting Structure:
