With a mission to make music fair for creators and over a decade of deep market experience, we’ve been called “one of the quietest yet most powerful companies” in the Chinese music industry.About the RoleWe’re looking for a strategic, creative, and digitally native Head of Marketing to lead artist marketing and audience development in China. You’ll drive local impact for international and local artists through campaigns that are grounded in insight, rich in creativity, and tailored to China’s fast-moving music and media ecosystem.This is a high-impact leadership role that blends campaign strategy, artist development, team leadership, and stakeholder management, all with the goal of growing artist success and Outdustry’s marketing footprint in China.Key ResponsibilitiesArtist & Client AcquisitionIdentify high-potential local and international artists suitable for the Chinese marketLead the preparation of tailored pitch materials to onboard new clients and projectsStrategy Development & Campaign PlanningDesign integrated marketing strategies aligned with both the artist’s global vision and the local market sceneBuild full-funnel campaign plans, including: audience segmentation, artist storytelling, media planning, digital advertising, influencer strategy, PR, brand partnerships, DSP strategies, and fan engagementDefine goals, timelines, and budget allocations for each campaignCampaign Execution & PerformanceOversee end-to-end campaign execution, ensuring creativity, accuracy, and momentum throughout the lifecyclePartner closely with clients to align expectations, report progress, and ensure satisfactionDeliver strong campaign reporting and post-mortems with clear learnings and ROIStrategic Partnerships & InnovationDevelop and maintain partnerships with Chinese DSPs, social platforms, media outlets, and brand partnersIdentify and pursue new opportunities in content partnerships and branded experiencesLead innovation in marketing practices.
