Duties and Supporting Responsibilities: * Reporting to the Directorof Food & Beverage, responsibilities and essential job functions includebut are not limited to the following:
- Leads, motivates andinspires the outlet team to deliver exceptional service experiences in linewith the brand and outlet standards.
- Leads outlet team toachieve the outlet's financial and operational targets; seeks out and reviewspotential business opportunities in line with the outlet's financial targets.
- Works with directreports to develop and execute the outlet's food & beverage promotions, isaware of the comp set and proposes ideas to continually improve the range andquality of the outlet's products and services.
- Ensures an effectivecommunication flow within the outlet (e.g. pre-meal briefings, staff meetings,communication with the culinary team etc.).
- Sets goals andexpectations for direct reports using the annual performance appraisal processand holds staff accountable for success & failure. The Managers keyaccountability is to ensure that his direct reports are equipped with all toolsto be successful at work.
- Ensures that allteam members receive appropriate and ongoing trainings to successfully performtheir job and to further develop within the food & beverage division.
- Proficient in varioustypes of alcoholic beverages, including types, brands, brewing techniques,taste characteristics, etc. Be able to familiarize and regularly organize thewine list, supervise the quality of drinks in the bar, and ensure that all drinksare made in accordance with standard formulas and quality requirements.
- Establish good cooperative relationships with surroundinghotels, restaurants, alcohol suppliers, etc., carry out joint marketingactivities, achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages, and expandthe customer source channels of the bar. Highly responsible & reliable.
- Works well underpressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to workcohesively as part of a team.
- Ability to focusattention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times.
