-Drive Business Targets: Set and monitor KPIs (orders, revenue, margin, NPS, market share); identify gaps vs. competition; initiate corrective actions.
-Market Intelligence: Analyze trends, customer needs, and opportunities to guide portfolio development and growth initiatives. * End-to-End Product Lifecycle Management-Own Product Lifecycle: Lead from ideation to phase-out—including cost control, performance tracking, enhancement/obsolescence decisions, and innovation.
-Pricing & Profitability: Set pricing strategies, manage price lists/frameworks, and ensure margin targets.
-Technical Leadership: Oversee specifications, R&D collaboration. * Execution & Performance Enablement-Go-to-Market Delivery: Launch products; develop marketing plans, campaigns, and channel strategies; create training/sales tools.
-Customer-Centricity: Manage NPS, resolve escalations, conduct satisfaction surveys, and drive loyalty through value-based selling. * Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance-Stakeholder Collaboration: Align Sales, Engineering, and Operations; mentor teams; build high-performance culture.
-Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to regulations (e.g., cybersecurity), ABB ethics, HSE standards, and legal requirements.
-Process Optimization: Share best practices; refine tools/methodologies for efficiency.Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical, Mechatronics) or related technical field.
- 8-10 years in Product Management/Marketing, with at least 5 years in China’s smart home/IoT/consumer tech sector.
- Proven track record in launching products, managing P&L, and achieving growth in China.
- Deep knowledge of China IoT ecosystems (hardware/software integration, SaaS platforms).
- Fluency in local connectivity protocols and cybersecurity mandates.
- Strategic agility: Translate market insights into actionable China GTM plans.
- Pricing mastery: Experience with local e-commerce/distribution models.
- Ability to lead cross-functional China teams (Sales, R&D, SCM) without direct authority.
- Fluent in Mandarin; English for internal reporting.
