Welcome to Bosch.Job DescriptionMechanical Design Engineer is responsible for EPS (Electrical Power Steering) ECU mechanical development including platform and variant projects.
(1) Responsible for the work packages of new product mechanical design incl. customer requirement analysis, overall concept design, create 3D model and drawing create with creo, tolerance calculation, build prototype.
(2) Apply product engineering method (e.g. DBRFM, FAM, FMEA, DFMA etc) during mechanical development phase.
(3) Support release of purchased parts for series and validation plan set up, and test result judgement.
(4) Responsible for mechanical components localization in china, solve the technical problems from supplier and RB production line together with other function team.
(5) Achievement of localization project objectives (cost, time, quality) and coordinate team with Technology, Production, logistics, purchasing for design relevant activities.
(6) Manage project risks & Lead problem-solving activities.QualificationsEducation and working experience
-Bachelor(5years+) or master degree(3years+) in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or related fields.
-Has certain technical skill on plastic/metal material and process, PCB and PCB connection technology
and assembly process.
-Has certain understanding on product cost calculation
-Has product development engineering process experience. or engineering ratio project experience
-Skill in 3D model.Soft skills
-Intercultural competence
-Negotiation and conflict Management
-English communication skill is required
-Resilient and self-motivated
