We are revolutionizing the way the world moves for future generations, and we want someone who is ready to move with us.Who will you be working with?You will be working with site MD and his management team, Site Quality, Supply chain, operation team and RTPE Quality team and Operation team.How will you make a difference?As a Senior Sourcing Manager for RTPE based in MSC China the role is critical for defining and optimizing our Supply Chain across RTPE.What do we want to know about you?
  • Degree in Engineering Science, Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Manufacturing process.
  • At least 10 years’ experience working in Supply Chain in a Senior role. Working for a multinational matrix organization business is preferred.
  • Experience working in a Supply Chain role Sourcing components for products like Relays, Circuit Breakers, Contactors, Switches, and other Mechanical and Electrical industry components.
  • Worked within an ISO9001 or higher certified business and has strong knowledge of Quality Management Business Systems.
  • Project Management qualification is a plus.
What will your typical day look like?
  • Research & evaluate potential suppliers in target categories.
  • Negotiate contracts & terms.
  • Maintain strong collaborative relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolving disputes.
  • Analyze & create cost effective sourcing options delivering best value to business.
  • Ensure compliance with required quality standards.
  • Monitor & manage supplier risks to the business.
  • Ensure selected suppliers’ compliance with company policies & legal standards.
  • Develop long-term sourcing strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Forecast and plan for market changes & trends.
  • Working with all RTPE sites Sourcing, Logistics, Finance and Operational leads.
  • Communicate to stakeholders, sourcing strategies and updates.
  • Prepare sourcing reports and presentations for operational use & stakeholder management.
  • Maintain Sourcing database & records.
  • Engage and travel to RTPE sites and our design team in India.
