Machine Learning Engineer - AILab

• Understand product objectives and machine learning techniques; improve model strategy.
• Understand user behavior and apply ML algorithms to optimize production experience.
• Understand the diversity of Rakuten's business requirements, data, and assets; build cross-scenario technology backbones.

• Bachelor or higher degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• 3 years' experience in one or more of the following areas: machine learning, search, recommendation systems, data mining, or other related areas.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, C++, or Rust and a track record of working with deep learning frameworks (e.g., pytorch, deepspeed, megatron, etc.).
• Solid experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for technology and solving challenging problems.
