Position SummaryEM team is a very language oriented team involved in searching information about companies in local languages in various sources and updating it in English. Among most frequent duties there are crafting companies in the database, checking their legal and official status, categorizing them and updating all relevant information within specific timeframes.OBJECTIVESTo provide quality assurance to a team of 5 – 10 employeesTo continue to provide authoritative data maintenance where requiredTo ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all companyTo supply to the success of the business by leading all aspects of the maintenance of accurate data on a portfolio of companiesTo assist in projects with emphasis on data contentTo provide high-level, timely query support (internal and external)To collaborate directly with other teams on regular basis to ensure constant development and information flow in the teamPRE-REQUISITESExpert knowledge of OA database, process and workflowProficient in JP/KR language is a plusStrong dedication to longevity within the roleRESPONSIBILITIESReview and edit all data completed by the team in terms of quality, production, fact, completeness and methodologyEnsure effective training to achieve high professional operational standardsSupport staff to complete high quality data in a timely mannerCollate statistical information to assist operational managementAssist where required in data projects and testingPerform high quality file maintenance when vitalDemonstrate the tools vital to perform the analysts’ duties in an effective and efficient way.Develop alternative training techniques to improve database quality and consistencies.Cultivate a learning and positive work environment.Work will have busier periods and at these times the Senior Market Analyst will be encouraged to work extended hours to keep up with the increase in reports completed by the analysts.To provide need based assistance to Team LeadersEDUCATIONRelevant or equivalent Bachelor’s Degree (e.g. Finance, Economics, Management, English or Journalism)Good knowledge of LSEG products and applicationsKnowledge of competitor offerings a plusCOMPETENCIESPrior supervisory experience a plusValidated attention to detailProfessional demeanourAbility to prioritize tasks and work optimallyAbility to work effectively within a team environmentAbility to tackle problems and make command decisions when vitalyFirm grasp of English languageSecond language to support local requirements an advantagePC SKILLSGood knowledge of SQL, VBAAbility to use in-house databaseCommunicate by email in a coherent and professional mannerPeople are at the heart of what we do and drive the success of our business.
