We offer Power Consulting for key segments in the energy system, such as renewables, transmission distribution and as well as e-transportation solutions.How you’ll make an impactYou will assist Application Engineer to provide Statcom solution.You will be responsible for STATCOM LP/MP system configuration, SLD and layout design.You will be responsible for STATCOM LP/MP system design, equipment design and sizing, performance guarantee.You will perform design studies for SVC/STATCOM systems (Flicker, MVar Sizing, Harmonic filter design and performance analysis).You will perform equipment sizing and rating calculations for SVC and STATCOM systems including VSC, phase leg reactor, FC branch, pre-charging circuit.You will support tendering engineer to prepare technical proposal.You will support Sales to present Statcom solution to Customer.You will investigate AC/DC EAF process and Grid code requirement.You will be able to review customer specifications and develop equipment and system design specifications, Knowhow of PSCAD Simulation.You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your backgroundBachelor or above majoring in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power system and its automation.Required couple of years experience and more.Good knowledge in MMC power electronic equipment (IGBT/IGCT) and Statcom control strategy in Industry and Utility application.Proficiency in English language.More about usWe pride ourselves on offering a holistic range of competitive benefit programs to support your financial, physical and mental wellbeing and personal development.
