So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.Who you are：We are looking Team Manager of E&S Support Functions for our Business Unit Heat & Gas Systems (BU HGS) Qingdao Marine site. As a Team Manager, you are working in our Engineering & Supply organization. You are operational & tactical & people manager for the Engineering assistants in Qingdao, and you work in close collaboration with Team Manager for Purchasing & Support in Europe. You are people manager (and aligned with functional manager in Europe) for diverse functions (Quality, Masterdata etc.), ensuring duty of care and sense of belonging to the local Alfa Laval entity as well as securing local compliance. Your team members are working in different areas which are related to our systems and products (boilers, burners, heaters, gas combustion units, exhaust gas cleaning products and related system components). You are reporting locally to E&S Site Manager. You and your team members are closely working with colleagues in Europe & China, and Alfa Laval’s sales companies & customers in Northeast Asia and our factory in Qingdao.To succeed in this position, you have few years’ experiences of leading people. You have good organizing, co-ordination and communication skills. You are cooperative and able to communicate in fluent English.What you know：
  • Applicable technical, commercial or management education (M.Sc./B.Sc.)
  • Experience of leading people. You have been working before as a people’s manager
  • You are result driven team manager, who likes to be present in the organization
  • You have a strategic & tactical perspective. You get motivated from challenges and can maintain high performance while working under pressure
  • You are open, flexible and you have good communication skills and ability to make decisions
  • You are a cooperative team player who has cross-cultural understanding
  • You have a systematic working style and ability finding solutions and you are willing to develop your own and your team’s daily work. You drive results through people
  • You are structured and systematic in your work, and you have commitment to deliver agreed results
  • Good English skill both oral and written
About the job：
  • Ensure day-to-day operations at a satisfying quality and performance level of the Engineering assistant team’s main tasks:
  • Certificate handling (receive, archive & make certificate booklet)
  • Class approval package upload/download
  • Order Handling for Heaters
  • General administrative tasks related to engineering
  • Ensure day-to-day operations at a satisfying quality and performance level of the other E&S functions (Quality, Masterdata etc.) which you are leading and supporting
  • Lead your team and support your team members in their daily work
  • Develop and motivate your team members
  • Ensure that Key Performance Indicators are set & data are available for evaluation. Responsible for Performance dialogues
  • Prepare and present regular reports of team performance and progress
  • Responsible for ensuring quality and efficiency in the team
  • Ensure compliance with Alfa Laval global standards & procedures
  • Ensure that strategic actions are broken down to tactical, and later operational actions.
  • Build trust and maintain strong and transparent relationships with internal & external stakeholders
  • Drive and secure that tasks are done on time through motivation of the team
  • Contribute and motivate team to optimize work processes, internally and externally
  • Contribute to increase in customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to efficiency and cost optimization in BU HGS
  • High quality level in processes, execution efficiency and product quality
  • Contribute to develop and optimize order process and SOP’s
  • Contribute to maintain internal department process and system and development of these
