- Design and develop the business logic and backend systems of the product
- Work closely with frontend developers to design and develop functional, performing and complete APIs
- Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks
- Develop high quality, well documented, and efficient code
- Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
- Collaborate with product managers and other tech leads to ensure applications meet functional requirements and strategic objectives.
- Minimum experience of 3 years in Java application development.
- Have a high enthusiasm for programming and new technology learning, have a strong learning ability.
- Proficient in RESTful API, SOAP, JDK, SpringBoot 3.x, k8s, JUnit.
- Should have knowledge on Relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and/or No-SQL Databases and ability to write basic SQL queries.
- Should be independently able to manage CICD tasks using Git, Azure DevOps (ADO), Maven, Ansible, and Helm Charts
- Experienced in Container Infrastructure such as Docker, Linux, Kubernetes, OCP or AWS EKS or Azure AKS. Implement microservices architecture to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Fluent English speaking/listening/reading/writing. Mandarin or Cantonese language ability will be an advantage.
