About the roleOur application engineers are the central system experts within our Global Sales and Marketing organization. With a focus on Industrial applications, this role provides our account teams with application-level marketing material and trainings for the full Nexperia portfolio including Power Semiconductors and Modules. Furthermore, this position provides customers with system level technical support as well as our business units with key products requirements for the relevant applications. This role requires strong relationships with sales, business units as well as to become a trusted advisor for our customers.What you will doAnalyse block diagrams and schematics for key applications within Industrial segment to gain deeper understanding of application features, trends and benefits and become the Industrial applications expert at NexperiaCreate application-level marketing material jointly with colleagues from business development and business groups to provide technical application training to sales and Field Application Engineers as well as enable future Design InPromote the product value (strengths versus competitive products) and quantify the technical benefits derived from choosing Nexperia solutions to our customer baseStay informed and share information about competitive products and technologies in dedicated applications such as Automation, Motor control, Robotics, Power Tools etc.Translate today and future system requirements into product specifications for our product roadmaps within the different business groupsManage application-specific design-in promotional campaigns to ensure early involvement in the customer’s technology roadmap and a timely flow of information to all necessary stakeholdersSupport the preparation of white papers and blogs for focused applications and represent Nexperia at various conferences/exhibitionsEngage on customer solutions and provide technical system supportWhat you will needMaster’s degree in electrical/industrial engineering, physics, or economicsMinimum 7 Years working experience in a similar roleExperience in Business Development, (technical) Sales, Product Marketing or Application Engineering rolesExpertise within industrial semiconductor market and understanding of Nexperia’s product portfolioEntrepreneurial thinking and strong communicationAn analytical mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, requiringStrong multi-tasking skillsFluent in English, both spoken and writtenTalent acquisition based on Nexperia vacancies is not appreciated.
