Work as Engineering Project Manager to lead & coordinate engineering activities of assigned projects for Dual Clutch Module, P2 Module, and clutch applications in diverse hybrid transmissions incl. HEV and PHEV of Commercial & Passenger Vehicles, ensuring the product development will meet the technology, budget, and timing targets during the complete development phases.Principal Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Lead & coordinate engineering activities of assigned projects for Dual Clutch Module, P2 Module, and clutch applications in diverse hybrid transmissions incl. HEV and PHEV of Commercial & Passenger Vehicles
- Ensure the product development will meet the technology, budget, and timing targets during the complete development phases.
- Communication with customers and internally with global technical centers, plants, and suppliers.
- Customer Requirements elicitation, review & align SOR with customers.
- Sign Off engineering release for customers incl. all technical documents – RASIC, Assembly drawings, DVP&R, technical reports, product change requests, part approval requests, …etc.
- Work as customer interface incl. preparation of presentations and present materials of engineering related items to customers
- Lead for customer troubleshooting, incl. 8D report to customer, failure investigation initiatives (technical analysis, test programs, …etc.)
- Support cost reduction activities
- Support product improvement initiatives
- Support production facilities and ensure that product meets production requirements
- Support initiatives to obtaining new business / customers
- This position will adhere to Global Star Safety Program, including safety rules, practices and training as outlined in the BorgWarner Safety Policy Manual, which includes the use of equipment, protective devices, or clothing that the employer requires. This individual will work in manners that stress the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses. In addition, he/she is responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible dangerous situations, incidents, or occurrences to the immediate supervisor.
- Bachelor degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering, Master would be a plus
- Min. 3 years experience in development of products in automotive industry,
- Development and application of E-Motor, Sensors and/or Power Electronics products would be a plus
- Experience in working with international teams
