
Assist Manager, Demand & Supply Planning

- Manage forecasting, purchasing orders, and business reporting to align with sales demand and inventory needs.
- Maintain close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure efficient order fulfillment and resolve supply-related issues for China sales.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to optimize supply chain and support sales operations in China.
- Facilitate the Demand Review Meeting and participate in all other S&OP meetings
- Collect and analyze monthly sales forecasts from owned stores and distributors. Develop comprehensive supply plans to fulfill demand and control inventory.
- Review system generated statistical forecast. Adjust and guide decision making with POS data, knowledge of business unit trends and upcoming promotions.
- Coordinate with warehouse operations, supply chain analysts, the commercial team, and Finance to clearly communicate and align the demand plan throughout the organization.
- Identify and quantify risks within the demand plan. Review demand gap and supply plan, develop contingency plan to close the gap.
- Support China sales growth and innovation on developing, monitoring and changing of the demand plan.
- Work with 3rd party warehouse to plan safety stock, manage inventory level and optimize warehouse operations.
- Prepare E&O report and provide action plans to reduce E&O.
- Based on forecast, customers' orders and inventory status, project supply plan and overview timely release of purchasing orders to suppliers.
- Maintain close communication with NTC Supply Chain Analysts and internal teams (sourcing, quality, engineering) for China sales operations
- Work with vendors, D&T team and logistics to ensure on time and smooth delivery of orders to the warehouse.
- Develop tracking tools and reports to monitor and follow up China sales orders to ensure on time delivery.
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risk when there's order delay.
- Capable of designing KPIs for forecast accuracy, inventory etc. Provide analysis and reports as required in support of KPI improvement.
- Prepare and maintain regular business performance reports
- Support supervisor with strategic supply chain initiatives
- Perform ad-hoc tasks and projects per leadership's assignment
- Bachelor's degree or above
- 5+ years of working experience on demand planning / supply chain management.
- Working experience in international companies is preferred
- Demonstrated strong demand planning experience
- In-depth knowledge of forecasting, strategic purchasing, logistics and customer service
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving and service oriented
- Familiar with SAP and Microsoft tools
- Good English written and spoken communication skills
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Proactive and “can do” mentality
- Consumer goods industry background
- SAP APO, IBP and/or Power BI experiences are a plus.
