Job Type: Full-timeJob DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Global Key Account Manager to join our dynamic Commercial team. This role is crucial in driving our business growth by managing and developing key account relationships, ensuring the successful delivery of revenue and profit targets for our global key accounts.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies and operational plans for selected key accounts to achieve sustainable and profitable sales.
- Drive sales development throughout the value chain, from specifying Hempel coating systems to negotiating, closing deals, and servicing accounts and their subcontractors.
- Define and deliver the Hempel value proposition to key accounts.
- Serve as the primary contact and negotiator for assigned global key accounts, building and maintaining relationships at all management levels and locations.
- Lead the account team, leveraging their full potential for the mutual benefit of Hempel and the account.
- Accountable for the development and implementation of the strategy and operational plans for the selected Key Accounts.
- Responsible for sales development (direct or indirect) throughout the value chain.
- Primary point of contact and negotiator for the assigned Global Key Accounts.
- Leader of the Account team, selecting and deploying the full potential of the team.
- Collaborate closely with various departments, including Group R&D, regional sales, BD, TS, finance, back-office, legal, and supply chain.
- Formal education with a strong commercial background; engineering degree preferred.
- Proven track record in sales with detailed knowledge and understanding of key account management.
- Experience within the EPC, coatings, fabrication industries, and project management is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales.
- Fluent in English.
- Strong commercial acumen and industry knowledge.
- Proven experience in managing key accounts and driving business growth.
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work strategically and deliver results.
