- Drive Growth through Pre-Sales Activities: Partner with Global Sales teams to win new business. You will engage directly with the APAC stakeholders of their prospects, showcasing Flexport's powerful tech solutions, local capabilities and market expertise to build confidence and demonstrate our value proposition early in the sales process.
- Develop & Execute Account Strategy: Create and maintain comprehensive APAC-specific Account Plans for your portfolio, identifying opportunities for growth, mitigating risks, and aligning with global account strategies in collaboration with NAM and EMEA counterparts.
- Build Trusted Client Relationships: Proactively engage with APAC-based client stakeholders and their key shippers to understand their business, challenges, and objectives. Develop and execute a regular client touchpoint plan, including calls, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and onsite meetings.
- Drive Business Growth: Actively identify and develop opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and generate referrals within your accounts. Collaborate closely with the global AE/AM teams on business renewals and expansions to grow the business together.
- Implementation Support: Actively participate in client onboarding and creating APAC standard operating procedures.
- Provide Strategic Oversight: Deliver hypercare for new, complex accounts to ensure a smooth transition to standard operations. Collaborate with internal teams to design specific solutions for unique client needs.
- Ensure Service Excellence: Monitor client metrics data, working with Global Operations teams to ensure metrics consistently meet client expectations, address escalations and solve clients issues effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain Data Integrity: Log all major client interactions, opportunities, and account updates in Salesforce to provide visibility and ensure continuity for the global team.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, client success, or a related client-facing role.
- Proven experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain industry is essential.
- Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required (CET 6 or equivalent is preferred)
- Client-centric: obsessed with client outcomes, doing what it takes to deliver the client's expectations, understanding your client's current and future business goals and challenges and translating those into relevant solutions and strategic account planning.
