Our headquarters are in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, and as the software center of ASML we have offices in Silicon Valley, US and Shenzhen/Wuhan, China.Job MissionWe are looking to hire a highly motivated, experienced and hands-on technical individual to support our state of the art Imaging products. This position will be in our IMG PEG (Product Engineer) organization.Roles/ResponsibilitiesProduct Engineer is responsible for Computational Lithography products definition and design, release testing with acceptance tests, second-line support of current accounts, and Training (internal/external). Play the function role as a link between R&D code implementation and customers requests, and interacts with most of the other team stakeholders (Marketing, Field, Sales, SQA, etc.). PEG engineer plays a key role in shaping and directing product function enhancement and development to solve customer issues:
  • Understand the request/feedback from customers and envision the technical trend with the marketing team.
  • Define the details of new product features and improvements in each release.
  • Test and qualify the new feature and improvement in each release, providing the proof book, documentation, and training materials.
  • Strong collaboration with R&D and SQA to ensure product quality.
  • Support customers as a second-line engineer to Field engineers to resolve customer issues.
  • Engage in a new customer benchmark/evaluation, and provide the best solution with the Field team.
  • Keep improving Imaging products by internal study, innovative new idea. Convert innovations to new functions even new product.
EducationMaster or Phd. in Optics, Physics, Imaging Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanics, or equivalent experiences.Experience
  • 3 ~ 8 years work experience in computational lithography
  • Direct experience in SMO (Source Mask Optimization), RET, Imaging is preferred.
Personal skills
  • Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of optics, physics, imaging, mathematics or semiconductor.
  • Intermediate/advanced software programming skills, such as python, lua, C/C++, and/or MATLAB.
  • Quick learner and flexibility are key attributes.
  • Strong competency to work independently and effectively, also capable to support Junior members' growth as a senior member of the team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong results delivery and attention for details.
