- Maintain the general ledger, including preparing and posting journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closes, adhering to strict deadlines.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Take lead the preparation of audit schedules and support external audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company internal controls.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and provide accounting support.
- Process payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll-related accounts.
- Manage fixed assets, including recording acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal, is a mandatory requirement.
- CPA certification or actively pursuing.
- Experience with a large ERP system.
