Razer is also a great place to work, providing you the unique, gamer-centric #LifeAtRazer experience that will put you in an accelerated growth, both personally and professionally.Job Responsibilities/ 工作职责 :The Sr. Video Test Engineer is responsible for assessing and verifying the video performance of a wide range of consumer electronics, including televisions, projectors, PC monitors, laptop displays, mobile phones, video source devices, and video processors. This role requires strong analytical skills to evaluate test data, identify and resolve measurement discrepancies, and ensure accurate calibration of video products. The engineer will also be tasked with installing and validating calibration settings within the devices to meet established performance standards and industry specifications.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive testing and evaluation of video display and source device performance according to THX specifications and procedures.
  • Conduct visual assessments to validate subjective image quality and corroborate objective measurement data.
  • Create and implement calibration settings on partner products to ensure compliance with THX performance standards.
  • Analyze test data and communicate results clearly to relevant parties, both within the organization and externally.
  • Liaise with partners and vendors to address technical inquiries related to THX specifications, testing protocols, and technologies.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting throughout the testing and certification process.
  • Draft and revise technical documentation, including test procedures and performance reports, for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee scheduling and logistics for the testing facility, including tracking products through various stages of evaluation.
  • Assist Sales and cross-functional teams with technical expertise as needed.
  • Perform special projects as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Proven experience with professional video measurement tools, including spectroradiometers, video signal generators, and calibration equipment.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a video testing or display calibration role.
  • Solid understanding of both professional and consumer video standards and testing protocols, including OLED, QLED, mini/micro-LED, and HDR formats (HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision).
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering teams, product groups, and SoC vendors to support product tuning and technology implementation.
  • Familiarity with software development tools is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and outstanding organizational abilities.
Education & ExperienceBA/BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.Preferred Language SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to respond effectively all types of inquiries. Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style. Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written exchanges in Chinese and English among domestic and international clients and colleagues
