Key Responsibilities & Authorities
- Perform the Quality inspection with supplier premises.
- Report to Quality Manager in case of any rejections found
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop and implement quality control plans and programs for supplier materials.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address and resolve quality issues.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and update supplier quality documentation and records.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate supplier qualification and approval processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions for defective materials.
- Participate in supplier performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical support and guidance to suppliers on quality-related matters.
- Monitor and report on supplier quality performance and key performance indicators.
- Timely review the required QMS documentation as per the QMS requirements
- Control the submitted evidences of the Corrective actions taken against the non-conformities and report to Quality Manager
- Minimum 3 years of work experience, and worked in medium-size multi-national organization [between 200 to 500 people].
- Experience in QA and QC in companies that have non-standard production/assembly lines and that had to be very flexible in meeting all client’s requirements
- Background in Mechanical /Electronics Engineering
- With some international exposure
- Candidates from PCB MANUFACTURING industry with major in electronics engineering who is familiar with soldering quality, connectors, knowledge of electronics components and testing products
- Internal Auditor certificate ISO 9001
- NDT Level 2 Qualification
- Other QMS certificates will add value
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and related quality standards.
- Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility: Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties, including maneuvering within a refinery or plant environment and accessing elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.
- Communication: Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing, or other communication capabilities, to communicate effectively.
- Focus and Multitasking: Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
- Safety Equipment: Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection, if/where needed in manufacturing environments.
- Personal Mobility and Reflexes: Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations, to perform office duties and travel to off-site locations when necessary.
