Key Account Manager - O&GAs a Key Account Manager - Oil & Gas (O&G), your primary mission will be to strategically develop and execute tailored business plans that address the specific needs and challenges of our major oil and gas clients within the APE business segment. You will play a pivotal role in driving the sustainable and profitable growth of Atlas Copco's product and service portfolio by aligning with dynamic market trends and industry developments.Your core responsibilities include:
  • Designing and implementing focused business strategies directed at priority market segments within the oil and gas sector, including specialized applications and key industry verticals.
  • Formulating comprehensive sales strategies encompassing targeted client lists, optimal sales channels, precise product offerings, and competitive pricing frameworks designed for designated customer groups.
  • Building and nurturing robust, long-term relationships with key oil and gas clients, aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction, trust, and loyalty.
  • Leading the development and execution of team capability-building initiatives to ensure alignment with overall business objectives and to foster high-performing, motivated sales groups.
  • Facilitating effective cross-functional collaboration with marketing, retail, and other support units to deliver clear and compelling communication of Atlas Copco's value propositions while optimizing regional and channel-based management.
  • Consistently achieving or surpassing established annual and project-specific sales targets, ensuring measurable contributions to business growth.

To thrive as a Key Account Manager - O&G, the following qualifications and attributes are beneficial:
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical design and manufacturing, marketing, or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in industry sales, ideally covering sectors such as construction machinery and oil and gas.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong teamwork orientation and a self-driven, goal-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel as required to maintain close engagement with key clients and internal stakeholders.
