- Organize a Technology Transfer workshop, coordinate module & process level break-up session. Coordinate unit module level transfer meeting between POR and receiving Fab.
- Unit Module Process Transfer & Optimization: Ensuring that proven processes are effectively transferred from receiving Fab from qualification to full-scale production. This involves scaling up processes while maintaining product quality and consistency.
- Equipment Setup & Calibration: Overseeing the installation, calibration, and validation of unique equipment in receiving Fab. To ensure that the equipment operates according to specifications and meets process requirements.
- Documentation & Standardization: Creating and maintaining detailed documentation, including process recipes, work instructions, CAS and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the receiving fab to follow.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the transfer of technology, such as process matching, process deviations or quality control problems, to minimize downtime
- Training & Support: Providing training and ongoing support to receiving fab on new processes, technologies, and equipment. You may also assist with troubleshooting and refining techniques during the early stages of production.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Working closely with POR & receiving fab process engineers, process integration engineers, and quality control teams to ensure the successful transfer of technology and troubleshooting of any issues that arise during production.
- Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements or optimization once the technology has been transferred to production. They often participate in initiatives to improve yield, cycle time, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Risk Management: Ensuring that the transfer of technology does not introduce new risks or issues into the manufacturing process. This involves rigorous risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
- Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the unit module process meets the required quality standards and specifications, and collaborating with quality teams to address any issues, process changes that affect product performance or compliance.
