In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.We are seeking a costing analyst with deep knowledge of JD Edwards ERP software and experience with system implementations to support the Commercial Vehicle Products business unit. Working with a cross-functional team, this role will lead standard costing improvements in accuracy, reporting and analysis for manufacturing plants located in Mexico and China.Job provides an opportunity to improve the collaboration with the Operations Team at Littelfuse PN and other Mexico Business Units with good visibility of the costing and General Ledger.About the Job:Determine standard costs and investigate variances with actual costsLead the annual standard cost-roll processReview, analyze, update and validate standard cost including bill of materials with deep understanding of the labor and overheadEvaluate standard and actual costs for inaccuraciesMeasure, monitor and analyze cost reduction projects as compared to expectationsAnalyze material usage variances, purchase price variances, scrap and inventory evaluation actual vs forecast in support of month-end closing activitiesResolve costing discrepancies and irregularities with BOMsInvestigate cycle count variances and resolve inventory adjustmentsWork on special financial projects as requiredAbout You
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or equivalent
  • 5+ experience with manufacturing companies in positions with responsibility in areas such as cost accounting, profitability analysis and manufacturing cost reductions
  • Understanding of manufacturing standard cost accounting and inventory valuation
  • Demonstrated proficiency in accessing information from ERP systems; JD Edwards and SAP knowledge required
  • Proficiency in Excel for modeling and analysis
  • Experience in partnering with operations to develop and implement cost reduction plans
  • Knowledge of GAAP
  • Fluent English Language
