- Act as focal point for all quality related customer communications like quality complaint and inquiries
- Work with customers to verify and understand the device and system level issues
- Address customer issues to internal team and drive solution for customer
- Update customers in a timely manner regarding to the status of the quality issues or inquiries till close
- Based on customer communication and data analysis, propose focus to plant for any improvement opportunity on product quality
- Work with plant to organize customer audit for quality issue related. Involvement into key customer audit for qualifications and surveillance etc.
- Collect and pass customer specific request to plant team/global QMS team and support the review, execution to drive better customer satisfaction
- Lead continue improvement on key customer’s quality score or satisfaction level
- 5+ total years in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering function (min). Sr Engineer desired is 8 Years (min).
- 3+ years in Customer Quality Engineering with Root Cause Failure Analysis knowledge and exemplary direct customer support skills.
- Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
- Knowledge of complex electronics, electrical, or mechanical assemblies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing principles and manufacturing engineering techniques
- Semiconductor experience in quality, engineering, or manufacturing preferred
- Semiconductor knowledge or experience (simple power protection devices, fab process general knowledge, silicon failure analysis tools, and failure modes) desired.
- Working knowledge of quality tools including cause-and-effect diagram, FMEA, 8D, chart, histogram, pareto chart, SPC, control plan,…
- Knowledge on ISO9000 / TS16949 / IATF Standards desired; automotive experience is a positive.
- Audit experience – Internal and/or external; VDA certified preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Strong Customer Management Skills - Able to interface effectively from engineering to senior management level.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work under pressure at times.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to provide quality interface at any level.
- Previous experience with multinational corporations (MNC) is an advantage
- Good understanding of and able to communicate in English (90%). Knowledge in other language is an advantage
- Team oriented and responsive
- Technical expertise in electronics, quality, or manufacturing engineering discipline for Senior level
- Willing to travel regularly for the job (as needed)
