- Release purchase orders and maintain accurate PO data in SAP; Negotiate with suppliers in MOQ and ETD. Update WIP report to global regions at weekly basis.
- Keep close communication with Asian suppliers to ensure effective order fulfillment; Work with internal functions including sourcing, planning, raw materials, master data, category manager&tech design, to solve highlighted issues.
- Communicate closely with supply planners on demand change, execute size adjustment, pull in and push out actions. Review air needs for delays and determine air cost responsible party.
- Order Re-allocation for Intl regions.
- Manage supplier delivery performance; Analyze the delay root cause to improve supplier on-time-delivery and flexibility.
- Regular meetings with sourcing and suppliers to review seasonal order status, capacity/delivery issues, opportunity for improvement and supplier performance etc.
- Air needs review and PO split.
- Buy sheet/Sales confirmation maintenance.
- Fabric surcharge debit note breakdown checking.
- Check supplier open & past due POs in weekly basis, follow up shipping status for open & past due PO's, remind suppliers to place booking, understand delay reasons and maintain PO data in SAP;
- Coordinate with logistics team to approve booking/shipping exceptions.
- Coordinate with logistics team to improve supplier booking, shipping and documentation on time & accuracy performance.
- Coordinate with logistics team to maintain ETA dates and update receiving discrepancies on PO.
- Work on proactive actions including suppliers' capacity analysis and supplier supply chain audit to reduce delivery risk caused by suppliers' capacity and internal process issues.
- Tasks assigned by Supply Chain Purchasing Manager.
- Serves as back up to other team members on order and logistics management.
- College or Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years working experience on order management, planning, merchandiser and logistics
- Working experience in international company is preferred
- In-depth knowledge of strategic purchasing, logistics and customer service
- Demonstrated leadership, team work spirit and coaching skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within deadline and prioritize effectively
- Strong interpersonal skill, problem solving and service oriented
- Familiar with SAP and Microsoft tools
- Good English written and spoken communication skills
- Strong analytical and presentation skills
- Proactive and “can do” mentality
